Scott Plaskett, CFP was retained by Eva Salinas of The Financial Post Magazine to analyze one of their readers financial situation and make financial planning recommendations. The review was highlighted in the magazine and was very well received. Some of the more advanced financial planning strategies available to Canadian professionals were used – such as Individual Pension Plans and retaining the services of an Investment Counselor. These two strategies alone provided the client with more annual tax deductions than either the client or journalist ever thought were possible.
