As a CFP® with almost 20 years of experience, Spencer joined the IRONSHIELD team because he was adamant about moving beyond transactional financial products and providing clients with genuinely personalized, transformational planning. He has a special interest in helping business owners navigate the complexity and stress of managing a small business today, and supports them with relevant investment management, risk assessment, and retirement and estate planning. 

Working with clients as their quarterback he strives to educate them on the fact that inertia is expensive. “I’ve seen clients become upset when they’re shown what might have been if they’d acted sooner,” he says. He shows them how being decisive and applying the right tactics will protect their futures — and the futures of those who depend on them. 

Depending on the season, Spencer can be found cycling, skiing, swimming, or cheering on his two kids in their competitive sports.
