There's a way to get tax free money out of your corporation that you may not be using.
If you have investments in your corporation or your holding company and some of those investments pay dividends such as mutual funds, exchange traded funds (ETFs), bank shares, Bell Canada, Telus…etc, a portion of these dividends can be taken out of your company tax free.
If, in the past, you bought some investments such as those described above and then sold them for a profit, some of those profits can be taken out tax free as well.
You can take out the money from your corporation right away or you can wait until retirement and then start taking out money from your corporation tax free.
