Step 6: The KAIZEN Full-Year Review™
Just like in the Mid-Year review, The KAIZEN Full-Year Review will re-visit the projections of your personal KAIZEN Financial Plan™ and compares them to the actual results achieved to-date. It too is designed to help you continue fine-tuning your financial plan, identify areas for improvement and address any concerns.
At your Full-Year Review we will also re-visit our review of your Investment Plan to ensure the management team(s) hired to manage your portfolio are providing value. This process is based on proven active investment principles and advanced strategic diversification. It is designed specifically for more affluent investors, and builds on four critical portfolio diversification components: asset class, geographic region, investment management style and correlation. If the asset class weightings have drifted, strategic re-balancing brings the target weightings back in line.
This meeting also includes an RRSP Check-up, which summarizes your RRSP contributions to-date and provides “top-up” options where necessary to maximize the current year’s RRSP contribution limit. The RRIF Check-up determines the minimum RRIF payout for the year, and helps ensure that the most appropriate investments are generating the required income.
